It is 35 here and raining... WTF??!?! I want my 60+ degree weather back please.

Suppose to go back to the 50's all week but why is it so cold on the first day of spring?

you live in the midwest! The place where it can be sunny and warm one hour, and the next blizzarding and below freezing-----and the phrase 'if you dont like the weather, wait a few minutes' is real. (be happy you arent a little farther north.....hubbys family is complaining about the SNOW)

Though I can remember an easter waaaay back in the late 70's where my family went to DC....it was warm (late easter that year, end of april I think)....so our wardrobe was all short sleeves, shorts and no sleeve dresses (yes I was that young)....wellllllll when we got back to chicago it was below freezing and SNOWING!!! we had NO coats and nothing even like a sweater amongst us! Good thing my dad had had to come back early and when he picked us up at the air port remembered to bring some coats with him (parents are like that---ok, it was my mom who TOLD him to bring them, but hey, I can remember it anyway I wish).

I went to bed tooo early last night, so I couldnt stay asleep....finally got back to sleep about 8am and woke up not too long ago,.....blehhh....now I need a nap.

Last time I looked it was 72 and a milky sky. To bad it we are going back to more normal temperatures next week (mid 40's)

What was last Junes temp like? Our temp yesterday was 35 so it was significantly higher in June lol

We are going to get another 1" to 3" of rain today, on top of the 5" to 10" we had last week. Well I have to go back to court on Wednesday to try and give my testimony on this never ending trial. I can't wait to see the next reason for postponement. Next month it starts all over again in Norfolk County (actual theft took place), right now it is in Bristol County (receiving stolen property). It's been 2+ years and counting.

That will be me in 2 weeks I believe... Well okay I have 2 exams next week, then the following week I have an exam and a project due on the same day, plus a project due next week and the following week... May get here soon.

that was what I liked about the quarter system the best....we had 11 weeks before thanksgiving and a week off then, a few weeks before xmas and then after 2 weeks off we finished up for spring break and then did 11 weeks and were done......no studying over breaks (ok, xmas, but it wasnt quite midterm when that one happened so usually only a paper or so was due when you got back.) none of the come back to exams stuff...

weather is getting nicer again. (keeyboard is gettting worse)

stupid since quarters were really nice.....but since I am no longer in college nor will give them another penny of my money, I really dont care that much.

Ah got it. I know there are still plenty of colleges that run on tri-mesters. Don't know if I would be a fan of it or not, but I have some friends that love it.

never beeen on trimesters...I liked quarters ...it was just like hs--very easy to slide from hs to college when the holidays et.al. were the same...
semesters are bleeeh....5-1-5 is ....just , messeed up (dang kyboard, my e is dying)...

had salmon rice for dinner...tasty. guess I need to gt anothcr kcyboard (will usc thc c for e thcy look alikc, sorta)....sigh

Quarters does sound like high school again. Classes are a lot harder though... One of the things I hate hearing is my dad telling me how I shouldn't be struggling in college because he didn't. So obviously I don't study enough. >< He fails to remember that I am a biology major compared to his music major AND we know more now then we did when he went to college...

I must agree that biology has advanced greatly in the last 20 years. I haven't heard of any great breakthroughs in music in that same period. azzer you leave your ham your in the sun?
